TELECONFERENCE   FACT   SHEET

Recent events, changes in technology and incredible demands on everybody’s time have made us think about a better, more cost-effective way to offer you up-to-the-minute quality tax planning information you can leverage for your clients right before the end of the year.

As a result, we proudly announce our YEAR-END TAX PLANNING FOR DEALERS TELECONFERENCE SERIES.  The advantages of this information delivery system and format are obvious.  We’ve listed only a few of the benefits on page 1.  By using a speakerphone in your office or conference room, you, your staff and your clients can receive tremendous value at an astonishingly low price.  One charge per registered location covers as many people as you can fit in the room!

Who Should Participate?  Each Teleconference session is geared to CPAs, controllers or other professional consultants to dealerships.  You can select all or any of the specific 90-minute teleconferences that appeal to you and will provide you with the greatest benefit.

Our complete full-day seminar, LIFO for Auto Dealers, previously held in different locations and presented in-house for CPA firms will now be offered in five 90-minute sessions (#1-#5).  If you’re already familiar with some of the areas covered, just select those you want.  The fifth session will specifically address year-end planning and projections for LIFO inventories.

Parts of another full-day seminar, Auto Dealer Current Tax Issues, will be presented in two sessions (#6 & #7).  The first session (#6) will cover all tax matters other than issues and problems for Oldsmobile Dealers and other dealers in transition.  The second session (#7) will focus entirely on special tax issues and problems for Oldsmobile Dealers and others in transition.

Teleconference Format.  Each teleconference will be 90 minutes of live presentation.  Ample time will be allotted at the end for direct questions from the participants and answers.  Participants are also invited to e-mail or fax questions or issues they are especially interested in prior to each scheduled teleconference.  All start times are Central Standard Time.  Taping or otherwise recording these sessions in any way whatsoever is prohibited.

Presentation Outlines Will Be Provided.  In order to provide you with the most timely information, one presentation outline will be faxed or e-mailed to each participant location approximately 3 business days before each teleconference.

Cost & Package Deals.  You may select any combination that’s best for you.  Teleconference sessions #1 through #7 cost $225 per session per registered location.  All seven sessions (#1 - #7) may be purchased together for the special price of $1,200.  All “teleconference package” sessions must be selected and purchased at the same time - prior to the first session.

Registration. To register, please fill in the accompanying registration form and include your remittance. Full payment must accompany your order.  You will receive (by fax or e-mail) a confirmation and specific instructions for participating in the sessions you’ve selected.  If you have any questions about these sessions or our policies in administering our YEAR-END TAX PLANNING FOR DEALERS TELECONFERENCE SERIES , call W. J. De Filipps at 847-577-3977.

OBJECTIVE:  To provide detailed discussions of current tax and IRS audit issues and planning strategies for CPAs and other professionals providing services to automobile and truck dealers.

          COURSE LEVEL:  Intermediate

         METHOD OF PRESENTATION:  Live

ADVANCE PREPARATION:  No advance preparation is required.

PREREQUISITE:  At least one year’s experience with automobile dealerships.

CPE CREDIT:  Each single teleconference session is intended to qualify for 1.0 hour of CPE.  More than 1 session if taken consecutively may qualify for more CPE hours because the cumulative actual participation time is generally divided by 50 minutes to arrive at CPE hours - which are granted only in 1 hour increments.  We cannot guarantee that you will receive CPE Credit due to differing NASBA and state requirements.  If CPE is an important consideration in your decision to participate, please investigate this before registering.  Call your state licensing board and/or NASBA for more information.
